Our Reception Class lessons are educational, interactive and fun! The children will progress through our pre-reading program in Term 1 to consolidate the learning from Nursery Class. Terms 2 and 3 lessons are very practical with lots of challenges to help them transition to Year One.
Children learn best when they are engaged, happy and safe. We encourage the children to develop their skills through both activity based and structured learning, which will help them to develop literacy and numeracy skills. We encourage children to participate in Arabic, PE and Music lessons and where possible, we take the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom, from using our BPS Teaching Garden to taking field trips.
